Homework Assignments (40%) : Five programming assignments, done in groups of 1-2. Will be assigned approximately every two weeks, and instructions on turning them in will be posted with each assignment. You have a total of four late days that you can use throughout the quarter as you need them, where a late day means anything between 1 second and 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds past a deadline.

Midterm Exams (30%) : There will be two closed-book pencil-and-paper midterm exams, each worth 15% of the grade – to be held during lecture on Thu Nov 2 and Thu Dec 7 respectively.

Project (30%) : A project that will be completed in a group of 4 and demo-ed and evaluated during the final exam block on Fri 12/15 11:30a – 2:30p.

Piazza (5%) : Extra credit for top-15 best participants on Piazza.
